This trip almost happened once before.

Then COVID ruined it.

Now the Riot is finally heading to Minnesota for the FIRST time ever - and honestly, this one has all the ingredients to become a sneaky favorite on the entire schedule.

Because Minneapolis in December just feels like football season.

Cold air. Downtown bars packed with fans. Keep Pounding chants echoing through the streets on the way to the stadium. Vikings fans pretending they’re not nervous every time they see Panthers fans showing up in numbers.

This isn’t a beach trip.
This isn’t Bourbon Street chaos.

This is a full-on winter football weekend.

We’ll be staying right in downtown Minneapolis close to the stadium, surrounded by breweries, bars, restaurants, and plenty of spots for Panthers fans to take over all weekend long.

And since this is our first-ever trip to Minnesota, we’re making sure it’s more than just a football game.

For fans flying with the Riot, we’ll also make a stop at the legendary Mall of America because honestly… you kind of have to. And if you want to lean fully into Minnesota culture, Paisley Park - Prince’s iconic studio and estate - is nearby and makes for an awesome optional excursion during the weekend.

But let’s talk about the REAL memory-maker here:

Snow tubing with your Riot fam.

Because there’s something objectively hilarious about tons of grown adults from the Carolinas launching themselves down snowy hills before an NFL game weekend.

And honestly?
That’s exactly the kind of ridiculousness that makes Roaring Riot trips unforgettable.

Then comes game day.

We’ll kick things off with a Roaring Riot tailgate before heading into one of the loudest indoor stadiums in football for a showdown with the Vikings. Their fans are passionate. Their stadium gets LOUD. And Panthers fans are going to have to bring the energy if we want the Keep Pounding chants to cut through all that purple noise.

This trip is going to be special because years from now, people probably won’t remember what they bought themselves for Christmas in 2026

But they WILL remember the weekend they went snow tubing in Minnesota with Panthers fans before taking over a Vikings game.
