What Is Tailgate With a Purpose?
Tailgate With a Purpose is Roaring Riot’s signature game day experience, a not-for-profit event produced by the members of the Queen City Riot for all of the Roaring Riot members and their guests at all Carolina Panthers home games. 100% of the net proceeds from each event benefit the Roaring Riot Foundation - each event is proudly fueled by Pepsi.
Last season we hosted performances from Underground Carolina Wrestling, Carolina Mic and Petey Pablo at our tailgate and this season we have DJ Kool, Simplified and Bubba Sparxxx on the calendar - there is NO party like a Roaring Riot party.
Expect:
- A high-energy fan atmosphere
- Food, drinks, music, and giveaways
- Special guests and programming you cannot get anywhere else
- A focus on giving back through charitable partnerships

Roaring Riot and Cam Newton
Roaring Riot and Cam Newton share a long history rooted in Panthers fandom, community impact, and doing things the right way.
From early fan events to charitable initiatives, Cam has consistently shown up for Panthers fans and for Charlotte. During Cam's time in Charlotte, the Roaring Riot and Cam collaborated on multiple events, including Santa Cam, Kickin' It With Cam and Cruisin' With Cam to help raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Cam Newton Foundation and other charitable causes. Hosting him at Tailgate With a Purpose is a continuation of that relationship and a celebration of what he has meant to the team, the city, and the fanbase.
His live podcast taping last season was a homecoming moment for Cam and we are excited to continue this incredible bond our QB1 has with the Roaring Riot.

Guest passes are being pre-sold and will not be available at the door. The only way to guarantee entry is by being a Roaring Riot member, purchasing a guest pass or VIP Booster Pass in advance before they sell out
If I sign up for membership, will it only be good for Sunday's game?
Memberships purchased in 2026 are good for the entirety of the 2026 season - that is EVERY TAILGATE THE REST OF THE SEASON!
Will there be guests on the podcast?
Yes. Cam is inviting some special guests. You are going to be very excited.
Is it going to be crowded?
Yeah, man! Last year it was packed and the line stretched multiple blocks but everyone did get into the tailgate to enjoy the show - we anticipate it being even crazier this year.
Will the Panthers win on Sunday?
Of course.
