The Roaring Riot is proud and excited to host Cam Newton and special guests for a live taping of his “4th and 1” podcast at our Tailgate With a Purpose event ahead of the first Panthers home playoff game in ten years. This is a rare chance to experience Cam live, surrounded by Panthers fans, before kickoff as we get ready to watch the Panthers beat the Rams at Bank of America Stadium.
Gates open at noon. Arrive early. Capacity is limited.

- Limited guest passes available for $30
- Guest pass proceeds will be donated to a charity of Cam Newton's choice

What Is Tailgate With a Purpose?
Tailgate With a Purpose is Roaring Riot’s signature game day experience, a not-for-profit event produced by the members of the Queen City Riot for all of the Roaring Riot members and their guests at all Carolina Panthers home games. 100% of the net proceeds from each event benefit the Roaring Riot Foundation - each event is proudly fueled by Pepsi.
This season alone we have hosted performances from Underground Carolina Wrestling, Carolina Mic and Petey Pablo at our tailgate - there is NO party like a Roaring Riot party.

Roaring Riot and Cam Newton
Roaring Riot and Cam Newton share a long history rooted in Panthers fandom, community impact, and doing things the right way.
From early fan events to charitable initiatives, Cam has consistently shown up for Panthers fans and for Charlotte. During Cam's time in Charlotte, the Roaring Riot and Cam collaborated on multiple events, including Santa Cam, Kickin' It With Cam and Cruisin' With Cam to help raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Cam Newton Foundation and other charitable causes. Hosting him at Tailgate With a Purpose is a continuation of that relationship and a celebration of what he has meant to the team, the city, and the fanbase.
This live podcast taping is a homecoming moment for Cam and a continuation of the incredible bond our QB1 has with the Roaring Riot.

What time will the podcast start?
We anticipate the live “4th and 1” podcast taping will begin around 12:30 PM. Gates open at noon, and arriving early is strongly encouraged.
Will Cam be signing autographs? Should I bring items to get signed?
No. Cam will not be signing autographs at this event. Please do not bring items to be signed, as space will be limited and we want to keep the flow moving smoothly.
Will there be food?
Southern Science will be providing food for 500 so if you're planning to eat, we'd suggest you arrive early!
What about drinks?
While the Roaring Riot tailgate typically serves liquor drinks from partners like Tito's and Jack Daniel's, this event will feature Noda Brewing beer, Barefoot wine, Mighty Swell seltzers, and Pepsi non-alcoholic beverages to help keep bar wait times low.
If I buy a Roaring Riot membership, how will I get in?
Digital membership cards will be emailed to you within two hours of purchasing your membership. The same applies to digital guest passes.
I am a member or I have a guest pass. How do I get in?
The tailgate is located at 520 Elliott Street. There will be a line for entry. Security will scan your digital pass and check your ID, and then you are good to go. We do expect a line, but it moves quickly. If you want to be close to the podcast taping, we recommend arriving early.
Will guest passes be sold at the door?
Guest passes are being pre-sold and will not be available at the door. The only way to guarantee entry is by being a Roaring Riot member or purchasing a guest pass in advance before they sell out.

If I sign up for membership, will it only be good for Saturday's game?
Memberships purchased in 2026 will include a 2025 membership swag kit mailed to your house, entrance to Saturday's tailgate (and any other future playoffs tailgates this year 👀) as well as a discount towards a 2026 membership. More details on that discount will be sent in the future.
Will there be guests on the podcast?
Yes. Cam is inviting some special guests. You are going to be very excited.
Is it going to be crowded?
Yeah, man! It's the return of QB1, the first playoff game since 2015 and the best tailgate in Charlotte! Soak it in!
Will the Panthers win on Sunday?
Of course.
